SHINO MIKAMI - UZURA

I am a Seattle-based screenprint artist passionate about sustainable living and Pacific NW nature, particularly birds,  with a hint of my Japanese heritage showing in my design aesthetics. My company name uzura—Japanese for 'quail'—comes from the little pet quails we keep as pets. My goal is to introduce the awareness of eco-conscious materials such as hemp, organic cotton and bamboo to more people with my original womens' and mens' apparel designs inspired by the natural world around us.
