MARGARET SWANSON-VANCE - WHITE HORSE DESIGN

My work combines my love of animals, a long family tradition of working in the textile arts and a delight in the whimsical. Each little animal is designed by me then meticulously sewn, by machine and hand. I give them all quilted wings to soar into the realms of imagination! They are made out of various fine fabrics, stuffed and embellished with details such as rhinestone eyes and embroidered faces. They are all made to hang, ornamentally. They are perfect for Christmas trees, baby’s rooms, an overhead light fixture, large houseplants and are lovely driving companions on your rear-view mirror!
