As an encaustic artist, I merge my passion for bees, nature, and the planet into layered works of wax and resin. Encaustic, made from beeswax and resin, is ideal for expressing my connection to the tactile and ephemeral qualities of the
natural world. My work explores texture, light, and environmental detail, evoking nature's complexity and resilience. Growing up around bees, I was fascinated by their intelligence and cooperative society. Bees symbolize harmony and are vital to ecological balance. I often incorporate honeycomb patterns, organic textures, and color gradients inspired by seasons and landscapes. My art celebrates nature's beauty while raising awareness of its fragility. It's both a tribute and a call to protect the earth. |
