Each of my paintings come from a hopeful place; sometimes bright and energetic, sometimes peaceful and quiet. I combine my love of everyday images with colors that are uplifting and soothing. I begin with layers of acrylic paint, using palette knives and a variety of brushes to create texture and blend colors. I add wax pastel for highlights and to shape the drawings. All paintings are original, have a clear varnish, and the edges are painted black, so no framing is necessary. Sawtooth hanger on the back, or can stand on a flat surface.
