3 owl tree - Surfing
Flocks of migrating shorebirds flew past in groups suddenly appearing and as quickly vanishing. Waiting crouched in the sand, camera at the ready I managed to capture enough images to compose this piece. They flew past along the waters’ edge and through the troughs of the waves. Fast. It was amazing to witness this timeless event along the shore of the Long Beach peninsula in Washington.
Original block print is printed in black ink. Layers of transparent watercolor are added once the ink is dry. Each print is unique and colors will vary. Contact me and I will send you an iphoto of choices.
