It was a hot day in August. We had paused on a hillside above the Chewuch River when a flock of red-breasted nuthatches gathered among the ponderosa pines close by. Our ‘pyshht’ bird calls were answered with a chorus of buzzing notes - a magical encounter.
Original block print is printed in black ink. Layers of transparent watercolor are added once the ink is dry. Each print is unique and colors will vary. Contact me and I will send you an iphoto of choices.
