Signed and linen-matted archival print of a Ugandan batik, framed in Cherry wood. This image is based on story by Lungala Rubadiri and illustrates, three ladies dancing on the hills of western Uganda. In the background the hills are dry and yellow; and in the foreground the hills are prosperous and green. On the ladies skirts are patterns representing some of the several different crops grown in Uganda; namely corn, millet and string beans. One should never worry when times seem tough; just as seasons change, prosperity will always come to prevail. The sun will always shine again…. AND THE SUN CAME!
