Lee H. Rentz - RAVEN CALL
Chaco Canyon is best known for its spectacular cultural ruins, with large scale buildings that once served as a gathering place for thousands of ancestral Pueblo people.
Chaco also serves as a home for Elk and Coyotes and Ravens, just as it did during the early days when this place was home to so many ancient humans. This Raven staked out its territory, calling loudly as I photographed it against a light, cloudy sky.
