Lee H. Rentz - DAZZLING AUTUMN LIGHT
When I took this photograph I was simply wandering around a campground with my camera in early autumn. The Fireweeds and other plants were turning brilliant shades in the September light. In the past I would have tried to show all the glorious details of the leaves, but this time I chose a more impressionistic approach, focusing only on the tip of the nearest leaf and throwing the rest out of focus. The color combination is dazzling, don’t you think?
