Combining drawing and painting with texturing and patterning, this pendant necklace was created with hand drawn designs and multilayered enamel finishes using the centuries old technique of enameling on metal. Coated with many thin layers of glass and pigment and fused in a kiln at 1500 degrees, with the intention of creating richly surfaced, artistically expressive and technically innovative contemporary art and jewelry. Antique buttons have been riveted to the front and evoke vintage objects weathered by time.
