Jenne Rayburn - All and Nothing Blue Pendant Necklace
Combining drawing and painting with texturing and patterning, this necklace was created with hand drawn designs and multilayered enamel finishes to show off the saturated colors and luminosity of glass. Using the centuries old technique of enameling on metal and historical enamel methods, with the intention of creating richly surfaced, artistically expressive and technically innovative contemporary art and jewelry, the pendant was coated with many thin layers of glass and pigment and fused in a kiln at 1500 degrees. One of the most ancient symbols, the simple dot originates from the print made by the palm and fingers of your hand. Considered a sign of eternal recurrence, the dot, or circle, has no beginning or end, signifying all that exists, and nothingness, at the same time.
