Combining drawing and painting with texturing and patterning, these earrings were created with hand drawn designs and multilayered enamel surfaces using the centuries old technique of enameling on metal. Coated with many thin layers of glass and pigment and fused in a kiln at 1500 degrees, the intention is to create richly surfaced, artistically expressive and technically innovative contemporary art and jewelry.
