June Garden features 4 views of a garden in the month of June. They are all oil paintings and each was completed in one day outdoors. The work measures 22 inches square. A “cluster” presents one subject from several points of view. It is part painting and part sculpture. Originally the idea came to me when I wanted to make large works and had no place to store them. Now I choose this format for its versatility and the surprises it has to offer. June Garden will arrive on your doorstep in a cardboard box, which I have constructed myself and which boasts double walls and lots of bubble wrap. I will handle and ship it to you for no extra charge or hand deliver it within 35 miles of my studio in Ashland, OR.
