A lifelong love of nature and animals are the foundation of all of my work in metal. My wall pieces are each one of a kind, starting with cutting and preparing thick copper panels. The design is 24K gold leaf, painstakingly applied using traditional gilding techniques. The challenge and reward comes when I use my torch to create beautiful flame patinas. The entire piece is sealed with lacquer to protect the gold and the patina.
This triptych is 16” x16” framed.
