June is a wonderful month to take pictures at Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument. The Paintbrush, lupine and alpine daisies are everywhere. This flower image was taken at Loowit Observation Point in June while I was waiting for it to get dark to take Milky Way photographs. There is something so special about that magic hour between sunset and night fall.
