I love to create art with natural materials. It is exciting for me to see a pile of strips of exquisite fabrics, wrap them around a cord in coordinated patterns and see it unfold under my hands as a unique basket. I started creating art more than 35 years ago. The baskets have evolved in recent years. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays, thus I make several jovial and spiritual creations. One of my most popular items for Christmas are nativities. These one-piece nativities are made of mottled cotton flannel and feature three different Idaho wools for Mary's hair, Joseph's craggy beard and the attached white sheep. Additional sheep can be purchased to go with the nativity set or by themselves.
Feel free to contact me during this event. I'm happy to answer any questions about my artwork.
