Kindred Woodworks strives to highlight the natural beauty in the world of wood. Using various techniques this could mean mixing and matching and pattern making within a particular piece or simply getting out of the way and letting Nature do the talking. I am drawn to the variety of colors she creates in abundance and seek to deliver that same beauty to people, whether with jewelry, furniture, cutting boards or the handmade wood paintings I create - and I do this all while striving to keep harsh chemicals out of my work using primarily locally sourced beeswax and oil to finish most pieces.
