I am inspired by nature. I use strong graphic shapes, negative space and texture to create my images using the printmaking process. I carve a linoleum block to create a large stamp, and print multiple copies on my Ettan Press. A touch of color is added once the ink has dried. Instead of traditional framing, I mount the images onto a wooden panel so no expensive framing is required. I also frame them in “Upcycled” wooden sewing machine drawers and add found objects to add color and interest to the final composition.
Feel free to contact me during this event. I'm happy to answer any questions about my artwork.
