In the spring barn swallows return to the Northwest. They can be encountered performing aerial acrobatics as they hunt insects above water and over land. Walking across a grassy field they may fly dizzying circles around your feet. The beauty of their movement led me to create this image.
Original block print is printed in black ink. Layers of transparent watercolor are added once the ink is dry. Each print is unique and colors will vary. Contact me and I will send you an iphoto of choices.
