This piece reminds me of the forest, with equisetum and ivy berries clustered around a rose quartz heart. Making these, I kept thinking about the parallels between trees and lungs. They act as mediators between the outer world and inner world, between the personal and the collective. This piece was made as a prayer for breath during the coronavirus pandemic.
