The beauty and abundance of nature are my muse for these garden themed necklaces.

Varuna's Garden

This is a necklace for a lover of blue! Varuna is a vedic deity of the sky and the sea, and this necklace could be worn by a mermaid. The wire lace is a deeply antiqued enameled silver wire. The center stone is an abalone shell enhanced with a blue resin coating. I have encircled it with glass flowers and leaves in blues, teals and deep purples. This is a set of necklace and matching earrings.

Garden for the Fae

Wild berries, blackberries especially, are the favorite food of the fae. Where I live in Oregon blackberries abound and, I suspect, the hidden world of the faeries. This necklace made of black enameled wire is dyed pyrite (mossy green and shiny purple) with a thicket of glass and pearl deep purple flowers, and tiny blackberries woven out of seed beads. This is a set of necklace and matching earrings.

Bouquet for Botticelli

Sandro Botticelli, the renaissance master, whose color palate is the initial inspiration for this necklace. A rainbow of delicate pastels in a garden of glass flowers always make me imagine that this necklace could be worn by a faerie, a nymph or a goddess of spring. The focal stone is glowing aqua chalcedony. The wire that I have used is gunmetal (antiqued silver/gold hue). This is a set of necklace and matching earrings.

Chloris's Garden

The wife of the gentle west wind, Zephyr was Chloris, a goddess who adored flowers. This necklace is made of copper wire and the purple mauve stone Lepidolite. A garden of lavender, mauve and sunset leaves and flowers will make you feel as if a ray of the setting sun is embracing your neck. This is a set of necklace and matching earrings.

Demeter's Garden

The goddess of the earth and the harvest in Greece was Demeter. This necklace is a celebration of the time of year of fruit and flower, the abundance of our earth. This necklace is made on a wire lace base of antiqued brass. I have used grossular (green garnets) as well as red garnets. The flowers are pearl and the leaves are glass. This is a set of necklace and matching earrings.
