Original mixed media collage on wood panel. This piece was inspired by a meditation following the death of a close friend’s mother. The imagery depicts a tree rooted in water and leaves with life moments woven in and through its branches. This piece was created with layers of painted papers and magazines and the background incorporates molding paste, acrylic paint, and ink. The artwork has been coated with a sealant for protection.
