I made this piece in April of this year and the color is about how Jazz has always brought musicians of different races together in mutually respectful collaborative celebration. The drawings are all based on actual local musicians that I have heard, some of them many times. It is a sculpture made from two paintings crossed at the centers. Painted in Latex on ¼ inch birch plywood, it is topcoated several times in clear acrylic and measures about 24 inches in every direction. It ships flat so you will easily assemble it on your table by dropping one painting into the slot in the other. I’ll send you full instructions. The price of $975 includes expert packaging and shipping via FedEx anywhere in the Continental U. S. I will also gladly deliver and assemble it if you live within 60 miles of Ashland, OR.
