I've taken the concept of the traditional Christmas Advent calendar and gone seriously wild with it. Instead of counting down the days until Santa arrives by finding sweet scenes of holiday fun behind the windows, this calendar features illustrated film scenes of 30 classic horror movies that span the 1920s through the 1970s. Countdown to Halloween with this calendar or, frankly, given the times, just turn any month into a great classic horror film educational experience. Flip your calendar to the back to read the title, year and a little description of each film scene you'll find hiding behind the little paper doors so you can easily search for the films and watch them at home if you choose. Not too gory, but definitely full of classic chills and thrills! All images were created by Seattle artist Lynn Rosskamp and each 8.5" x 11" calendar is printed and assembled locally.
